From Pieniny National Park we drove towards Wadowice where the late Pope John Paul II was born. On the way to Wadowice we stopped at an old castle that was open to the public. One of the perks to visiting Poland is that you’ll never see as many crowds of tourists as in Paris or Rome.
Since we were in the area we had to try the kremowki. A pastry made up of a light cream filling sandwiched between puff pastry. Like most areas in Poland, you have to pay to use the restroom unless you are a customer. Your best bet is to buy a kremowki for 3 zly and use their restrooms instead of paying 2 zly just to use the toilet.
